I’ve gotten a few compliments lately on the images I’ve been using in my posts. Images help engage your readers. You should also set a “featured image” for each post for thumbnail usage in your theme or in RSS readers. But it can be kind of a pain to search for images and make sure the image copyright allows you to use and share it.
This got a lot easier with Buffer’s tool, Pablo. Create a free Buffer account and you can easily search images that allow you to re-share them, add captions, add your logo, and share or download the images. Pablo even uses one of my favorite sources of royalty images– Unsplash!
I’ve been using this for a couple of months and have found it to be super quick and easy. I often create two images: a square image for the featured image, and a rectangular header image. But I mix it up sometimes, depending on the post.
Curious about the details? Read up on Pablo’s licensing terms.
Thanks to the folks at Buffer for making Pablo free! I hope you like it as much as I do.
